It does three things, all in the browser or via a stateless endpoint -- nothing pasted or uploaded is stored: - Character cleaning (free, no account): removes hidden Unicode characters from pasted text -- zero-width and invisible characters, Unicode tag characters and variation selectors (which can smuggle a hidden message inside visible text), bidirectional-override controls, blank fillers, stray control characters, and non-standard spaces. It also fixes look-alike letters (Cyrillic and Greek characters shaped like Latin ones) and folds styled Unicode letterforms back to plain text. The cleaned text is then retyped and re-checked until the result stops changing, and finally checked word by word for a character from a different alphabet hiding inside an otherwise single-script word. - File cleaning (free, no account): strips metadata from PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, image, and plain-text files, up to 15MB. - Claude Rewrite (paid, Pro plan): retypes pasted text from scratch rather than deleting anything -- the only approach that can affect a signal embedded in word choice itself. Character cleaning and metadata stripping are exact for the categories they cover, since those categories are finite and enumerable. No tool of this kind can guarantee a result against an AI detector, and this one does not claim to. ## Jobs - [Job board](https://myremotejobs.io/): Remote roles, browsable without an account. - [All jobs](https://myremotejobs.io/jobs): Full listing with filters. - [Browse by category](https://myremotejobs.io/jobs/categories): Category hub pages. - [AI Job Match](https://myremotejobs.io/ai-job-match): Matches roles against an uploaded resume. ## Companies Employer profiles: what each company does, how their hiring process actually works, their remote policy, and the roles they have open right now.
