- Professional experience performing audio transcription, especially in settings where high accuracy is essential
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong commitment to delivering error-free language data
- Familiarity with industry-standard transcription tools or platforms
- Proficiency in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to articulate guidance, clarify ambiguities, and document findings
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing project requirements
Who Should Apply
Apply if you're a native or near-native Korean speaker with a track record in transcription or language work, and you have a genuine eye for detail — this work is repetitive and accuracy-dependent, so quality matters more than speed. This will frustrate you if you prefer variety, in-person collaboration, or a stable paycheck; it's best suited to someone doing contract work by choice, not necessity.
Salary Insight
The $20–$36/hr range is wide, likely reflecting variation by experience level, accuracy track record, and project complexity. This is contract work with no benefits, so factor in taxes and gaps between assignments when evaluating take-home pay.

Application Tip
Lead with your most relevant transcription experience—not just "I speak Korean fluently," but a specific project or context where you've transcribed or reviewed audio under quality constraints. If you have verifiable samples or references from prior transcription work (even volunteer or in-house), mention them. Hiring teams for AI training work are filtering heavily on accuracy history, not just language ability.
