What You’ll Do

  • Read and review a complete rough deposition transcript of approximately 250 pages
  • Author reference answers to roughly 100 questions about the deposition record with page and line citations
  • Complete eight short litigation tasks drawn from the same transcript
  • Prepare all answers without AI assistance, documenting any AI tool usage for transcript navigation
  • Maintain consistent judgment and reasoning across the full set of answers and tasks

  • Practice in commercial, contract, or personal injury litigation
  • Comfortable working from rough transcripts with precise page and line citations
  • J.D. degree and valid U.S. law license
  • U.S. based and eligible to work as independent contractor

Who Should Apply

It will frustrate someone who prefers working on novel legal questions or with others to debate judgment calls, or who hasn't spent significant time in actual depositions.
