Overview
This project improves product catalogue accuracy on an online shopping and recommendation platform. You'll review incoming product listings and decide whether each matches an existing catalogue entry, needs a new entry, or should be dismissed.
What You’ll Do
- Review product information and images to assess catalogue fit
- Match products to existing catalogue entries or identify new entries needed
- Dismiss items that aren't eligible for the catalogue
- Flag unusual cases and product inconsistencies
- Provide suggestions on product categorization and tagging
- Ensure catalogue accuracy and consistency across similar or near-identical products
Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent
- Ability to complete Product Entry Specialist Assessment (approx. 15 mins)
Who Should Apply
This suits detail-oriented people who enjoy categorization, pattern-matching, and quality control work, and who can maintain accuracy over repetitive tasks. It's frustrating for those who need stable, predictable income; want collaborative team environments; or need structured mentorship — this is independent contract work with minimal guidance beyond the task itself.
Salary Insight
Payment is per-unit at $0.15, making this gig work where earnings depend on volume completed rather than hourly rate. Total income will vary widely based on how many units you process and how quickly — this structure rewards efficiency but offers no guaranteed minimum or benefits. Research similar micro-task platforms to understand realistic hourly equivalent before committing.

Application Tip
Your assessment result matters most here — spend real time on the Product Entry Specialist Assessment and show careful, consistent judgment. In any work samples or examples you can share, emphasize cases where you caught subtle duplicates or edge cases others might have missed, or where your categorization suggestions improved usability. This role rewards pattern recognition and thoroughness, not speed.
