Overview
Turing is hiring marketplace operations specialists to support the development and validation of Large Language Models for seller and partner management. This role involves recreating complex vendor workflows, validating AI-generated outputs in partner scenarios, and creating high-quality training datasets to improve LLM performance in marketplace compliance and partner support.
What You’ll Do
- Map and recreate complex seller and partner operational workflows covering onboarding, vetting, catalog management, performance monitoring, inventory submission, and support ticketing
- Validate AI-generated outputs for policy interpretation, performance warnings, automated communications, and compliance checks against marketplace policies and legal requirements
- Simulate partner-facing challenges including performance metric tracking, SLA validation, and data integrity audits
- Provide detailed structured annotations and high-quality datasets from partner interactions and operational exceptions to improve LLM training and evaluation
Requirements
- 3+ years hands-on experience in Marketplace Operations, Vendor Management, Seller Support, or Partner Success
- Familiarity with marketplace management tools and Vendor/Seller Central portals (Amazon, Shopify, eBay, ServiceNow, Jira)
- Exceptional attention to detail with understanding of policy gaps, compliance risks, and impact on marketplace ecosystems
- Conceptual understanding of how operational data is used for training and evaluating Machine Learning models
- Excellent written English for creating policies, documentation, and validating AI-generated partner communications
Who Should Apply
This role suits someone with genuine hands-on marketplace operations experience (not just familiarity) who enjoys rigor, documentation, and quality control. You should apply if you've managed real seller/vendor problems and can spot when a system breaks. This will frustrate you if you prefer high autonomy with minimal oversight, expect US-market salaries, or lack the specific vendor portal and marketplace operations background—this isn't an entry point into that domain.
Salary Insight
At $5/hr for a 40-hour week, this role pays approximately $800/month or $9,600 annually—significantly below standard US rates for operations specialists but reflects contractor-based remote work in specified lower-cost regions. This is evaluation-stage compensation; confirm whether rates increase after initial assessment or contract extension.

Application Tip
Lead with a specific seller scenario you've handled end-to-end—a complex onboarding issue, a policy violation you resolved, or a performance metric discrepancy you caught. The hiring team is evaluating your ability to spot what AI gets wrong, so show evidence of catching real operational gaps or compliance problems. Mention any direct experience with Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, or eBay portals by name; generic "marketplace experience" won't signal the operational depth they need.
